Medical Clinical Assistant Program Details
Our Medical Clinical Assistant program uses hands-on learning to help students prepare for entry-level healthcare careers in 13 to 15 months! Practice performing capillary sticks, updating and maintaining electronic health records (EHRs), taking medical histories and more. Enrollment is on a rolling basis and programs start every five to 10 weeks!
A Medical Clinical Assistant supports doctors and patients by taking vital signs and medical histories, assisting with procedures and maintaining sterile environments, and managing patient records and appointment scheduling. Medical Assistants handle both administrative and clinical tasks, while Clinical Medical Assistants focus primarily on patient care—taking histories, assisting with exams, giving injections, and preparing patients for procedures.
